Shane Richard Hekman:Dedicated to the Craft.

Born and raised in Orange County, CA and currently based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Shane Richard Hekman had his sights firmly set on pursuing entertainment as early as elementary school, getting a head start by teaming up with his longtime friends, creating absurdist comedies to upload to YouTube.As Hekman traversed high school, he joined their journalism team to shoot and edit their weekly video announcements, securing more eyes on not only his works, but his name. All the while, he attained the rank of Eagle from the Boy Scouts of America, attended a summer film program at UCLA, and won Best Sound Editing/Design at his school district's film festival.Despite a rocky college career set in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, Hekman persevered and graduated cum laude from Burbank's Woodbury University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking, just in time for him to physically walk the stage.Seeking to edit film and video, Hekman bounced from job to job as an independent contractor, becoming Kingsmen Projects US' in-house marketer, giving the inaugural Shop! Marketplace's promotional materials some flair, and partnering with the Secret Sauce Society to create evocative testaments to heart-minded leadership.On his own time, Hekman works on his own short films, stays up to date on independent cinema, composes heavy metal-adjacent music, distributes records from himself and his friends, and frequents local shows and businesses in Denton Square.
